You are new in the trade ? Here are then some rules for beginning well.
To finance your catalogs : In your service direction, you can see the advance of your catalogs. At the beginning, you have only one, that of the small sizes. It is essential to finance your catalogs regularly, to also finance their publicity, because those are your only source of income when you begin. At the end of a variable number of days according to the type of catalog, those will be finalized, and you will be credited with a certain sum. You will have to then start again them for a new period. The catalogs are independent of the comic strips which you print, thus do not wait to have finished a project to launch the catalogs.
Lastly, the publicity of a catalog will enable him to be better sold. The financing and publicity are total budgets, i.e. which they must be launched at the same time. If you do not finance the publicity of the catalog at the same time as launch it to you, you will not be able any more to do it until the finalization of this one.
To create a project : Is your goal to sell comic strip ? Well ! Start immediately by launching a new project. For that in your service direction, add new "oneshot", choose its title, and recruit the author who will carry it out. Each day, come to pay him the pages which it carried out, and at the end of 25 pages (for the small sizes), you will be able to finally publish your first comic strip !
To publish :You finished your first album ? Congratulation. Now, it should be sold. For that two crucial things : printing of the albums, and their publicity.
For the printing, you must choose the number of specimens to be printed. Be careful !!! The printing is expensive, and you do not have only that like expenses !!! Never forget to keep you a margin of liquidities for your other activities.
How many specimens printing ? You don't know ? It is normal. You are new in the trade. Then here a free council : for your first comic strip, at least publish 100 and to the maximum 200 specimens. That will enable you not to fall in out-of-stock condition as of the first day, and the benefit of the sales will enable you to start again an impression if you need some the following day.
For publicity, it is easy. The more expensive it is, the more it makes sell (logical !). But at the beginning, one cannot say that you are rich. Thus you will certainly be brought to choose the least expensive. This publicity is obligatory, and it is it which will determine the duration of sale of your specimens, as well as the number of sold specimens.
Be careful with your stocks of comic strips. If you launch a publicity whereas you do not have stock in advance, that will not be used for nothing...
To resell albums of an old project : You have an album which is not sold any more? And you would like to resell some specimens of them? Nothing easier! It is enough to remake another project with the same author. All new album of an author automatically will start again the sales of its preceding albums. But be careful, the number of resales is not unlimited. When you see in your service catalogs an album marked like "withdrawn from the sale", it is that you will sell some never again. Not the sorrow to keep stocks for nothing, to as much send them to recycling. At least you will regain the price of paper !
Lastly, I would say that the most significant council when you begin is : "Take your time !". Do not seek to recruit the dearest authors immediately, or to buy titles of publishers out of price. You would ruin yourselves before to have published your first comic strip. A council for the first rank: buy only what is the least expensive...

Name of the editor : It is the name of your Company of virtual edition.

Goal : the meter of the objectives is an indicator enabling you to follow your progression. You find the number of sales there to be reached, as well as the sales figure which you realized.

Forecast with SceneStat : The SceneStat company makes estimates of sales on comic strips in forecast of the publications from the 1 to 6 days come. That can be very useful to choose the good moment to publish a comic strip.
Unit (of Publisher house) : A unit is the equivalent of an action. A unit gives you right once per month to dividends, according to the benefit of the publisher house having emitted this unit, but also with a no-claims bonus on the sales within your catalogues, thanks to a kind of partnership.
Be careful, you will recover only sales, not the money on these sales, and only on the catalogues which you have. That will amongst other things make it possible to achieve many goals more quickly. But be careful : if ever the publisher house of which you have units publishes comic strips of a type which you do not manage yet, you will not gain anything above !
A unit is the equivalent of 0.1% of the publisher house. You can yield up to 49% of your house.
A unit is negotiated on the Market. It can be exchanged only with about 30% of its quotation of the day. Quotation is calculated each day, according to the average sales of albums of the publisher house.
Sale and buying order : When you go on the market, you can launch buying orders or sales in order to buy or to sell titles of publishers house. You can sell the titles which you only have in your possession, and buy any title on the market (including repurchasing yours titles and within the limit of your finances).
To buy a title, it is enough to launch a buying order. If somebody answers it favorably, you will receive its titles in your wallet of titles. Caution ! Only the editors having 10 days of seniority minimum can buy actions.
To sell a title, it is enough to launch a sale order. If somebody accepts this order, you will transmit titles in your possession to him.
In addition, you can answer an order of the market, if it is a buying order, it is that you agree to sell your titles, if it is a sale order, it is that you agree to buy the titles proposed.
Lastly, nothing is worth a good negotiation to reduce the price or the quantity from the exchanged titles ! Caution : all the orders are subjected to the TFO (Tax on the Financial Operations), with the height of 5% of the amount of the transaction.This tax is distributed equitably between the purchaser and the salesman.
Bonus : A bonus is an exceptional asset.
It gives right to you many options, like recruiting an author on leave, paying publicity less expensive, to add a project whereas you are already to the maximum of possible projects etc,...
Each day, the CMA decrees no-claims bonus by chance... look at your mail well.
XP or Experiment of the author : The more one author works, the more it acquires experiment. The more the experiment is raised and the more quickly the author will work on a project. According to the type of album that you will publish, you will need authors having specialities (colorist, scenario writer, draughtsman). They will then have a XP for each specialization.
Popularity of an author : The popularity of the author is his chance more or less known by the customers. It will exploit the number of comic strips which you will sell. The more this one is raised, the more you will sell albums. N the other hand, your author will see his pay increasing according to this popularity. The popularity of an author is directly related to the sales of its albums. The more it sells, the more it is popular. Another means of increasing this popularity quickly is to send your author in festival.
Vacation of the authors: An author, when it finished an album, is automatically on leave. This for one more or less long period according to its popularity and of its experiment. But this period extends at least during 24h. Of course, you can constantly recruit an author on leave with a bonus ;)
Oneshot : A Oneshot is an album whose history finishes in only one volume. There is thus no possible continuation.
Series : A series is a succession of albums in which the same history proceeds. There can be short series (on 2 volumes) like long series (on 10 volumes for example).
The advantage of a series compared to a oneshot, it is that when you publish a new volume of this series, that starts again automatically the sales of the precedents opus.
But attention with the too long series... the readers could be wearied.
Warehouse : Certain fragile albums require precautions in their storage. It is the case of the album for adult and De Luxe edition. You will need to store them to have a warehouse, and boxes of storage.
Caution, the place is limited, it will be necessary well to manage your stock. Also think of ensuring your stock. Although that is not obligatory, a disaster so quickly arrived !!!
Sick Author : The authors are people like others. They can sometimes fall sick. In this case, only one solution, patience. But reassure, they recover quickly...
Taxes : Each first of the month, you are imposed on your benefit (and only on your benefit). Your benefit are visible in your countable assessment.
Caution, plus you have benefit, plus you are imposed :
Between 0 and 5000Th : 10% have

Liquidation : It is the last end when you do not have any more money, that you do not manage any more to finance your projects and your authors. Profil : allows you to manage your personal parameters, nickname, mail, name of the publisher house and password.
Direction : This page gathers capital information of your publisher house and shows an overall picture of your situation. It is the heart of the publisher house. It is from there that you will be able to create, control your projects and your sales.
Mail : You can see in this office the events which took place in your publisher (Sales, payment of the authors...), but also all the events to come : (various Taxes, invoices, malus...). It also enables you to write messages to your competitors.
Accountancy : In this service, you will be able to control from a financial point of view the good walk of your publisher house. You have access to all your movements of account, with the amount of your fixed assets (stock of comic strips not sold), like with your monthly assessment. Be careful with controlling this assessment well, because it is him which will determine your tax rate each month, according to your benefit. Also, in the event of big problem, you will be able to file for bankruptcy of your publisher to start again to zero.
Personnel : You will see the contracts in progress there as well as the list of the works that this author already published (on your premise or another editor). It is also in this office that you will have to deposit your requests for vacation, so that your projects are put on standby until you returned.
You will be able to follow your commercial also there, to change them assignment, to engage other of them, etc ...
Design department : You will see the projects in progress there, but also you will be able to remove the projects which are started and which do not have authors. And sometimes to modify the titles of the not started projects.

Market : The publishers house can be quoted on the stock exchange market. While going in this office, you can emit titles, buy or sell actions of your house as well as concurrent houses.
Book's Marking : In the Book's marking, you can see all comic strips who were published by the various companies of editions (Classification of the most sold with the least sold).
Cartels : The cartels are special interest groups created by regroupings of editors. In this office, you will be able to reach the cartel of which you form part, or to see the list of the cartels in activity in the world of the edition.
The bonus are rare and of value products (unless acquiring them to the CMA). They must be used with intelligence.
The advantage of the bonus, it is that they will enable you to carry out actions which would not be allowed to you normally, or to obtain reductions on some of your expenditure. As of the "assistant" level, you can carry out series of albums. Those should not inevitably be done by the same authors, nor to leave in a precise time.
There are many advantages to make series :
- The new volumes start again the sales of the old volumes
- The loss of interest of the public is much slower than for oneshots
- the volume of conclusion is generally very well accomodated by the public
But caution, it there also some disadvantages :
- You have the obligation to continue the series no matter what it arrives, and for this reason as soon as a volume is finished, the following is directly added to your projects, a temporary title is allotted to him, that you can change in the design department.
- create too many volumes is likely to weary the public. The sales are likely to fall on the last...
Regularly, festivals are organized. You then receive by mail a form for inscription, in which you reserve the number of sites for your stand, a site allowing to receive 1 author (not the sorrow to reserve 9 sites if you have only 2 authors for the festival).
Caution, certain festivals are more expensive than others, generally more they are expensive, more they have visitors.
The festival day before, you will be able to decide which authors you want to send to it. For that, instead of paying them so that they work on their albums, you will be able to pay them so that they move on the festival.
Moreover, you will also be able to send a stock of albums to it to sell. But for that, it is necessary obviously that the authors who carried out these albums is also on the festival, and in contract with your publisher house.

Of course, always according to the number of visitors, you will sell albums that you had sent.
Certain fragile albums require precautions in their storage. It is the case of the album for adult and De Luxe edition. You will need to store them to have a warehouse, and boxes of storage.
A warehouse can contain a limited number of boxes, and each box can contain a limited number of albums. It thus you will be supposed to pay great attention in your printing for not overstock the albums which are not sold any more.
When you acquire of a warehouse and box, think of ensuring your stock. Although that is not obligatory, but a disaster so quickly arrived !!! Caution: the insurance depends on the number of places which your warehouse contains. Any modification of the contract of insurance (increase in the space of storage for example) implies the cancellation of this one and the obligation to take again new !
Operation is as follows :
From the "Assistant" rank, you have a team of commercial (at beginning 3, but you can recruit of them others which are acquired to you for life).
You manage this team from the "Personnel" office.
You will have to send these commercial in various points of sales so that they distribute to it your albums, each point of sale having a different potential of sale, and accepting different type of albums.
Caution, you are limited in train tickets ScenCF. Your displacements of commercial are thus counted. Each day, you will be entitled to a number of displacements proportional to your rank.
Moreover, each commercial on mission (in other words which did not remain not with the registered office), costs in notes expenses ({ FRAISCOMMERCIAUX}Th per day).
The goal is to pre-empt your new exits in order to deploy your sales force suitably, knowing that several points of sale can accept the same type of comic strip.
How will be calculated the sales of your albums according to your commercial :
You publish a album which is sold at the same time in the FNAC and the bookshops
Your deployment of sales representatives is as follows:
2 sales representatives on the FNAC (potential of sale 60 by commercial) = 120 of sale potential
1 sale representative on bookshops (potential of sale 50 by commercial) = 50 of sale potential
thus on the whole a potential of sale of 170 : i.e. in other term which your sales force can run out to the maximum 170 specimens per album and days.
If your album were to be sold with 80 specimens (according to various calculations of market, publicity, etc...), your commercial will be able all to run out.
On the other hand, if your album were to be sold with 200 specimens, they will be able to run out only 170 of them. Too bad ! It would have been necessary to add commercial on the bookshops for example !
The Trade union of the Editors can have recourse to the elimination of certain editors under the following conditions :
- in the event of noncompliance with the rules of the game, where of deontology on one where the other of the forums devoted to Scenedition
- in the event of nonparticipation on the game :
In this precise case, at the end of 30 days of inactivity (except the vacations days), the editor will be placed in liquidation.
At the end of 45 days of inactivity, its account will be removed of game.
Any bonus bought with the CMA definitively will be lost and not refunded.

This choice of kinds is not pain-killer, because the moroseness of the market is very fluctuating between these various styles of album. Thus, the total moroseness could be on its best level whereas the Science Fiction kind is with lowest !
By defect, you will be able to always make a data base in a style "various", which will be subjected to him for no purpose of fashion. But generally, according to the topicality, the sales of certain collections will be able to fly away...
"Several, one is stronger !" This maxim summarizes with it only the importance of the cartels. Indeed, the cartels are made up editors who gather in order to have more weight to make pressure on their various interlocutors, printers, advertising executives and even on the authors that they engage.
The more one cartel has members, plus this one will be powerful and thus will be able to obtain reductions in various fields.
Description of cartel
A cartel is composed of a president who has all to be able on the control of his cartel, the adhesion or the banishment of his members, on the price of contributions etc... It is the only Master on board, and only can obtain the invaluable reductions of the suppliers to him.
A cartel is also composed of its active members. The more numerous they are, the more the cartel will have to be able. It does not matter the importance of each editor because the union makes the force, and even the small editors can weigh heavy if they gather. A member does not have any decision-making power, but on the other hand, if it is not satisfied with the control of the president, its resignation can weigh heavy on the loss of influence of the cartel.
Adhesion with a cartel
There is several way of adhering to a cartel :
- maybe by creating some one. One becomes then of office his president. But it is then necessary to recruit the members of them... because all alone, one does not weigh heavy.
- maybe by asking adhesion an existing cartel. Its president will validate this inscription or not then.
Caution: one can at the same time form part only of one cartel. Make the good choice. Moreover, you can adhere to a cartel only as from 10 days of seniority in the trade.
Direction of a cartel
It is in time which president of the cartel that you will have the most responsibilities. You thus will be able :
- to accept or refuse adhesions : you only can say who will be member or not your cartel
- to banish a member: a member does not respect your ideology, banish him from your group
- to name a successor : does the function of president weigh you, or time had just passed the hand to another editor ? Name your successor directly and give up your load of president.
- to fix the amount of the contribution : you can choose if the members will have to pour a semi-monthly contribution to belong to your lobby, or if this contribution will be free
- to negotiate with the interlocutors : it is you only who will determine the various distributions of the reductions which you will obtain because of your importance.
Payment of the contribution
If your cartel is fixed with contribution, this one will be automatically taken account from the members 1st and the 15 of each month. Caution, if the member cannot pay his contribution at the date of taking away, it will be automatically banished of cartel. It will have to then ask again an adhesion which the president will be able or not to accept. The president is exempted of any contribution.
If the cartel chooses a mode of contribution proportional to the rank of the member, the multiplying coefficient will be calculated according to this rule :
coef = rank^power
with Trainee rank = 1, and power = 2
ex : cartel with gradual contribution of 12Th
a trainee will pay : 12 * (rank)^2 = 12 * 1 * 1 = 12
a assistant will pay : 12 * (2)^2 = 12 * 4 = 48
a editor junior will pay : 12 * (3)^2 = 12 * 9 = 108
etc...
Obtaining the reductions
Your cartel make pressure on the suppliers and the authors in order to negotiate the best tariffs. Thus, more you are numerous, more you will have reductions. The calculation of these reductions is done by sections of 5 members:
- 5 members = 1% of reductions
- 10 members = 2% of reductions
- 15 members = 3% of reductions
etc...
These reductions are calculated once per day. Thus, if you have adhesions or resignations in the course of day, you will keep the same reductions until the following day.
Distribution of the reductions
The president can choose to distribute the reductions in the following way :
- up to 25% on publicity : at the time to launch a campaign, the reduction will be deduced from the initial price.
- up to 25% on the printing : at the time to launch the printing, the reduction will be deduced from the initial price.
- up to 25% on the paid of authors : at the time to engage the author, the reduction will be deduced from the initial wages
All these reductions are cumulable with the reductions granted by the bonus. Thus, on a publicity of 1000Th, with a reduction of 10% thanks to the cartel, and a reduction of 60% thanks to the bonus, you any more will not pay but: 1000Th - 10% = 900Th - 60% = 360Th Caution: in one day, you solely have right only to 4 negotiations, i.e. which you can change the reductions of sector only 4 times per day.
The president can constantly to change this distribution. The changes are immediately applied to the various prices.
The conference room
A conference room is accessible within your cartel in order to be able to discuss the orientations or all and anything between members from the cartel.
The bank account of the cartel
Each contribution will be versed to the account of the cartel. This money could be useful for multiple things...
In addition to the fact of allowing obtaining reductions near the printers, advertising executives or others, the cartels have the immense advantage of proposing to their members exceptional insurances.
Operation of the insurances
An insurance of a lobby protects from a quite particular risk. It can then is to prevent this risk (protection), to refund certain sums in the event of problem (compensation), or to allow solutions of folds (assistance).
Each insurance has a cost when it comes into play. This cost is directly assumed by the cartel, which sees its charged bank account of the expenditure generated by the insurances.
Selection of the insurances
An insurance is established for 30 days. Once this one selected, it is necessary to await the extinction of the insurance policy to be able to change some. The good choices thus should be made.
There are two levels of insurances, according to their importance. A cartel has the right to select only one insurance of each level, that is to say on the whole 2 insurances active at the same time.
Guarantee of the insurances and validity
Once the selected insurance, it is necessary to validate it, i.e. to make it active. For that, it is necessary to have on the account of the cartel a sum higher or equal to the guarantee requested for this insurance. When a member of the cartel is exposed to a situation covered by the insurance, this one will deal with the expenses or compensation for this member. The account of the lobby thus will be taken sum necessary to the generated expenses.
If ever the bank account of the cartel does not contain enough any more of thunas to deal with these expenses, the Trade union of the editors will stand as guarantor and fill the difference. On the other hand, the insurance will be automatically invalidated for the following day. To activate it again, it will be necessary that the cartel waits to have again joined together the guarantee on its account.
From the level editor Senior, certain players will have the possibility of widening their activities. They thus will be able, if they wish it, to buy a printing plant.
This printing plant, in addition to the fact of enabling them to print their albums, also could be placed at the disposal of the other editors who will be able to use it to print their albums, realising money of course !
Operation of printing plant
A printing plant to function with need for two things: paper and rotary printing-presses.
- Rotary orinting-presses :
The first thing to be made is thus to install lines of rotary printing-presses. A line will correspond to a type of album (Small Size, comics etc...). The same rotary printing-presses not being the following the types, they will also have different prices.
- Paper :
Then, it is necessary to buy paper to supply your rotary printing-presses. This paper must be bought by web. There exists in several qualities having each different characteristic. The more one paper will be of good quality, the more the web will be expensive, but more the produced album will be sold.
All the web do not have either the same length. The thicker paper is, plus this one will be short, and thus less albums you will make with.
Setting in public production of the lines
For each line of rotary printing-press, you have the possibility of or not placing it at the disposal of the public. A public production will mean that no matter who can use your line, your paper to print its albums. But for that it will have to pay the price which you will have even fixed.
These production costs (fixed and variable) will have to be established in a certain fork imposed by the rules of competition.
Production quota
Your lines of rotary printing-presses do not have a rate of unlimited production. The more you have machines, the more you will be able to produce. But once the quota of production reached for the line, this one will be stopped. You will be able either to then repurchase a rotary printing-press to increase your quota, or to wait the following day.
In the same way for paper. Once the web are finished, your production stops. But you can constantly to repurchase a new web and relaunch your rotary printing-presses.
Recycling of paper
It can happen that on your web does not remain that some paper falls, insufficient to make an album. You can then recycle these falls and buy a new web.
Maintenance costs
These maintenance costs are the whole of the expenses generated by the use of your printing plant. They include electricity, maintenance, etc... These costs are directly related to the paper measuring which will be used in your lines, that that is in private or public production.
These costs will cumulate over the day and will be automatically taken your bank account once per day. Caution with the overdraft!
Albums and type of paper
When you decide to print a comic strip on a private printing plant (your or that of another editor), the album will be printed with the paper currently assembled on the line. You will be able to thus determine the quality which you want to give to your album. But be careful ! Once an album printed in a type of paper, you will be able to reprint it only in the same type of paper. It should be known that Imprix printing works prints only on one paper of normal quality. In other words, if you choose to print your album on a paper of another quality, you will be always obliged to pass by the printing plant deprived for this album...
Choice of printing plant and cost
When private printing plant are available on the market, several choices will be offered to you during the printing of albums.
- Either you will be able to continue to use Imprix which will always provide the same services, and which will be able to be also put in strike...
- That is to say to use your own printing works if you have the line to print your type of album. In this case there, you will pay only the maintenance costs and paper used...
- That is to say to make print your album in one of printing plant which will be available at this time there on the market.
In this case there, you will see the maximum production that these printing plant will be able to provide you, as well as the costs that they will invoice you. Caution ! Private press do not preserve your offsets, which wants to say that the fixed costs will be always the same ones, whether it is of a first printing or a reprinting.
Qu'est-ce que la réputation ?
A partir du 07 janvier 2005, chaque maison d'édition se verra attribuer un score de réputation.
Ce score caractérise la façon dont est perçue cette maison par le public, les professionnels (auteurs, journalistes...) et les marchés financiers. Plus une maison a bonne réputation, plus ses titres se vendent. A l'inverse une maison à la mauvaise réputation quand à elle aura du mal à écouler ses stocks. La réputation influe aussi sur l'attirance exercée sur les auteurs travaillant pour vous. La réputation est notée sur 100
Jusqu'au grade d'éditeur junior, votre réputation sera toujours égale à 50, soit une réputation normale. Mais à partir du grade d'éditeur, celle-ci va évoluer en fonction de vos actions. Bien sûr, plus vous prendrez de grade, plus la répuation de votre maison sera dépendante de vos décisions.
L'évolution possible de votre réputation en fonction de votre grade sera la suivante :
Stagiaire : fixe à 50
Assistant : fixe à 50
Editeur junior : fixe à 50
Editeur : entre 40 et 60
Editeur senior : entre 10 et 90
Directeur d'édition : entre 0 et 100
Où visualise-t-on la réputation ?
La réputation est indiquée dans la page "Direction". Elle figure aussi dans le classement sans pour l'instant influer directement sur celui-ci.
Ma maison a sa réputation qui baisse : est-ce grave ?
Tout dépend des proportions, mais il faut se préocuper dès les premiers signes de baisse de votre image. Il est en effet très délicat de gérer une réputation catastrophique, et cela peut conduire à la faillite !
Comment perd-t-on sa réputation ?
La réputation se perd lorque vous commetez une action qui n'est pas conforme avec l'éthique ou avec la logique d'une bonne gestion d'image de marque.
Ces actions sont les suivantes :
- par album en rupture de stock : -0.1 de réputation
- par retard de paiement auteur : -0.1
- par rupture de contrat : -3
- par ordre non valide en bourse : -0.1
- par festival sans auteur : -1
Comment faire pour avoir une bonne réputation ?
Il faut pour cela faire en sorte que vos actionnaires, vos auteurs et votre public aient une bonne image de votre entreprise.
Pour cela, un certain nombre de situations vous feront gagner de la réputation :
- Lorsque vous distribuez des dividendes à vos actionnaires :
* 0 à 10 th par action : +0.5 pt
* 11 à 500 th : +1 pt
* plus de 501 th : +3 pt
- par festival où vous envoyez 9 auteurs et 1 BDs : + 1 pt
- par festival avec 9 auteurs et 1 à 3 BDs : + 2 pt
- par festival avec 9 auteurs et plus de 4 BDs : + 3 pt
- Lorsque vous employez de jeunes auteurs :
* signature d'un contrat avec un auteur dont le salaire est inférieur ou égal à 208 : +0.5

- a chaque publication d'un catalogue : +0.5
- Lorsque vous êtes président d'un lobby important :

- pour chaque titre dépassant les 100 000 ventes : +0.2
Quels sont les effets de la réputation ?
Tout d'abord ce score est publique. Personne n'aime être à la tête d'une entreprise qualifiée de mal famée !
Mais surtout la réputation a une influence sur les ventes selon le barême suivant :
* 0-10 : -50% de ventes
*11-25 : -30%
*26-35 : -20%
*36-45 : -10%
*46-55 : 0%
*56-65 : +10%
*66-75 : +20%
*76-90 : +30%
*91-100 : +50%
La popularité influe aussi sur la capacité de votre entreprise à attirer des auteurs talentueux et populaires.
* 0-10 : +20% pour le salaire de vos auteurs. Vous ne pouvez pas embaucher d'auteur à la popularité supérieure à 20.
*11-25 : +10% / 50
*26-35 : +5% / 150
*36-75 : sans effet sur le recrutement
*76-90 : Vous payez vos auteurs 5% de moins car ceux-ci considèrent votre maison comme attractive.
*91-100 : Vous payez vos auteurs 10% de moins car ceux-ci considèrent que c'est un honneur de travailler pour vous !
A partir du niveau éditeur sénior, vous allez devoir faire très attention à vos immobilisations. Pour rappel, les immobilisations correspondent aux albums que vous gardez en stocks et qui vous coutent en frais d'entretien, de stockage (même ceux qui sont stockés en entrepôts), de gestion comptable etc...
Tous ces frais sont résumés par la valeur des immobilisations que vous pouvez consulter dans votre comptabilité. Ainsi, deux fois par mois, le 5 et le 20, un bilan comptable de vos immobilisations va être effectués et vous serez prélevés automatiquement... Attention donc aux découverts...
Lorsque vous vous rendez sur le marché, vous avez également accès au marché d'échange de projets. Ce marché va vous permettre de revendre à d'autres éditeurs les projets que vous ne voulez plus éditer.
Pour pouvoir vendre un projet, il faut que celui-ci soit terminé, mais qu'il n'ait jamais été imprimé, ni qu'aucune publicité n'ait jamais été lancée dessus, et bien sur que vous en soyez l'initiateur (vous ne pouvez pas revendre un projet que vous avez acheté). Attention, pour chaque vente, une commission est prélevée et reversée aux auteurs du projet.
Pour pouvoir acheter un projet, il faut être minimum éditeur junior, et bien sûr avoir la somme sur son compte.
Vous êtes complétement libre du prix de vente de vos projets. Vous pouvez vendre ou acheter tout type d'album, oneshot ou série, tome 1 ou tome 10... Mais attention, une fois un album acheté, il continue de subir les contraintes du marché ! A savoir, pour une série, il faut que tous les tomes précédents soient parus avant de pouvoir éditer un nouveau tome. Attention donc aux arnaques !
Enfin, une fois un de vos projets vendus, il est impossible de le racheter à nouveau.
Votre maison d'édition va tous les jours se voir attribuer une note, en fonction de différents critères. Cette note va permettre de vous situer par rapport aux autres joueurs, mais également va intervenir dans certaines phases du jeu.
Voilà comment va être décomposée et calculée cette note :
Chaque éditeur est noté sur 20. Cette note est décomposée en 5 rubriques, sur 4 points chacune.
